Personal Trainers: Do you want more clients?

Hi! I'm Jason Kozma, owner/operator of High Performance Personal Training, LLC in Los Angeles, California.  I've been a personal trainer here in LA for over 12 years.  You may recognize my name.  If you've done any searching for "Los Angeles personal trainer" or "Santa Monica personal trainer" you've likely seen one of my websites.

I've been doing internet marketing for my personal training business since 1996.  That means I was one of the first trainers to have a website (the second to my knowledge).  I was also the first trainer to offer Online Personal Training, and we've all seen where that has gone.  I have spent thousands of hours on the internet learning how it works and what it takes to get my site to the top of the organic (unpaid, not pay per click) listings for my area.

I've become an expert at it.  My site is consistently ranked #1 on Google and Yahoo for Los Angeles personal training and other permutations of the word.  A few years back, I created websites for my brother in Florida and a friend in Nashville, and their sites are tops in their area too.  I've even made sites for other fields that are tops in their area too.

Here's the good part: I'm now offering the same service for you!  For a monthly fee, I'll make you a webpage that will come up at the top of the organic listings for personal trainers in your area too.  To make sure that your ranking is unchallenged, I will only accept one trainer per city or town.

The page can say anything you like; you can email me the copy you want on the page.  I will add/edit it as necessary to make your page rank high in search engines.  For those of you who need help with marketing copy, I'll help with that too.  Of course your own photos and any other items you have can go up there too (youtube videos, slideshows, etc...).  All phone calls and emails go directly to you, not through me.

How does this help you?  Internet marketing is by far the most efficient method for personal training.  Print, radio, and TV ads are cost-prohibitive for most of us, and not worth it.  The only time that these are effective for us are when they are free.  Most of the time, they are not free.  You will likely spend far more money on the ad than the amount you make from new business.  I'm sure many of you have found this to be true.  Internet marketing is different.  The people on the internet are looking for specific things; i.e. personal training in our case.  All you have to do is make them aware that you exist and give them a good reason to train with you.  That's what I do for you.

Frequently asked questions

Why not just do google adwords or other pay per click advertising for your own existing site?  I have found that this is also quite costly and you have no guarantee on whether the "clicker" is actually interested in using your service.  For all you know, your advertising budget can be getting used up by your competition!  I'm not saying it's useless, but it can be quite costly.  To get a jump start, you may wish to use it along with my service.

What's better about one of my pages?  It will rank near the top consistently regardless of traffic volume; you have unlimited clicks. Even for my most expensive page rental rate your profit margin will be huge!

Does internet marketing work?  Well, it does for me.  It has for me since I started in 1996 and the good news about the internet is this: In the future, more people will use the internet.  Not less.  I don't even use other forms of advertising or promotion.  My schedule has been full for years now and I have other trainers working under me to accommodate the business I generate.

Does my service work?  If you found me via one of my "beacon pages" then you know the answer to that question.  Do you already have a website?  That's great!  Can anyone find it?   If not, we can put your material on the page I provide you.  Your new page will be found by potential clients.  You can even refer them to your main site for more information.  If you have your own url you want to use, we can point it to your page.  If you don't have your own web address and you want one, I'll throw one in for you!

How much does it cost?  The page creation, maintenance and rental fee varies by location: larger cities cost more, smaller cities, towns cost less.  It is also a reflection of the competition level of the market.  The more competitive the market, the more effort it takes on my part to get your page to rank high.

Small cities or towns like Hendersonville, Tennessee, South Milwaukee, Wisconsin $99 per mo.

Medium sized cities like Milwaukee, Wisconsin, most college towns (not the larger nearby city) $199 per mo.

Medium-large cities like Boston, Orlando, San Antonio $299 per mo.

Large cities and hot markets for training like San Diego, San Francisco, Miami, Las Vegas, Manhattan and other boroughs of New York: $399 per mo.

The initial setup is equal to 3 months of service, paid up front.  After the first 3 months, you will be billed automatically for the upcoming month.  You can terminate the agreement anytime after the first 3 months.  Be aware that there are "hot months" and "cold months" in the personal training business.  Sticking for the long haul is the surest way to success.  In any event, your first client from the page will usually cover even the highest cost monthly fee.  You can't afford not to do this!

What are you waiting for?  Someone in your area is looking for a personal trainer on the internet - will they find you or someone else?
